Education Partnership associate completes doctorate at UCL Institute of Education
Uncategorized Add commentsWe are delighted that Jake Anders, long time Policy Specialist at The Education Partnership and now as a Researcher specialising in education at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, has been awarded a PhD by the UCL Institute of Education, University College London. Jake’s thesis on “Socio-economic inequalities in access to Higher Education in England” was passed by examiners without need to make corrections, reflecting the high standard of work and its defence in the viva voce examination.
While completing his doctorate, Jake also undertook a seven-month secondment to the House of Commons Education Committee, which considerably broadened his knowledge of the education policy landscape. He is now continuing to develop his expertise working on both academic and policy research projects related to education, with a particular focus on impact evaluation.
